Saygı Ünlü was born in 1984 in Kadıköy, Istanbul. He completed his undergraduate studies in Radio, Television and Cinema at Yeditepe University and earned a master’s degree in Political Science and International Relations from Istanbul Gelişim University.
He began his career directing news and television programs on national channels. Over time, he transferred this experience into the field of higher education, offering strategic communication and international accreditation consultancy to academic institutions.
He works closely with universities, research centers, and academic organizations, providing strategic guidance throughout every stage of the accreditation process—from self-evaluation reports to site visit preparation. By integrating communication strategies into quality assurance efforts, he helps institutions strengthen both academic performance and institutional visibility.
He has been appointed as an expert evaluator by two international quality assurance agencies: AQAS (Agentur für Qualitätssicherung durch Akkreditierung von Studiengängen) and ACQUIN (Akkrediterungs, Certifizierungs und Qualitätssicherungs Institut). Through these two organizations, he actively contributes to independent external evaluations of higher education programs, and provides international accreditation consultancy to institutions in Turkey and across the globe.
In addition, he produces and hosts a science-focused media segment titled “Bilim Gündemi” (Science Agenda) on Haberler.com, which highlights academic achievements and gives visibility to scientists and universities both in Turkey and internationally.
