Securing quality through accreditation and strategic communication
“Accreditation is not a checklist. It is a process of evidence, alignment and credibility.”
Saygı Ünlü completed his undergraduate studies in Radio, Television and Cinema at Yeditepe University and earned a master’s degree in Political Science and International Relations from Istanbul Gelisim University. He is currently pursuing a second master’s degree in International Relations at Doğuş University.
His professional background includes directing news and television programs on national channels, an experience that later informed his work in higher education. He now operates at the intersection of accreditation, quality assurance, and institutional communication, providing advisory support to academic institutions.
He works closely with universities, research centers, and academic organizations, offering guidance throughout international accreditation processes—from self-evaluation reports and evidence structuring to site visit preparation. By integrating strategic communication into quality assurance efforts, he supports institutions in strengthening both academic quality and institutional clarity.
He has been appointed as an expert evaluator by two international quality assurance agencies: AQAS (Agentur für Qualitätssicherung durch Akkreditierung von Studiengängen) and ACQUIN (Akkreditierungs-, Certifizierungs- und Qualitätssicherungs-Institut). Through these roles, he contributes to independent external evaluations of higher education programs and provides international accreditation consultancy to institutions in Türkiye and beyond.
In addition, he produces and hosts a science-focused media segment titled Bilim Gündemi (Science Agenda) on Haberler.com, highlighting academic research, scientific achievements, and institutional contributions at both national and international levels.
Combining expertise in higher education with a strong background in media and communication, Saygı Ünlü delivers structured, reliable, and sustainable advisory solutions that support institutional development and academic excellence.
